The Redwood Grove Bank Stabilization Project consists of bank stabilization work to repair and improve a severely eroded 30-foot section of Adobe Creek. Additionally, the existing footbridge immediately upstream of the erosion site and the 560 feet of existing boardwalk will be removed and replaced. Project areas disturbed during construction will be restored with native plants grown from seeds and cuttings collected from the Adobe Creek watershed.

This project is funded in part through a grant from the Santa Clara Valley Water District’s Clean, Safe Creeks and Natural Flood Protection program and in partnership with the non-profit agency Acterra. The project is scheduled to begin construction August 17, 2015 and be completed in October  2015.
