Los Altos Implements Additional Preventive Measures Against COVID-19

Los Altos, Calif. – March 11, 2020 – The City of Los Altos is continuing to closely monitor and follow direction from the Santa Clara County Public Health Department. In accordance with the County’s latest guidance, and for the safety of the Los Altos community and City staff, the City is currently implementing preventive measures, in addition to the cancellation or postponement of City events.

As this is an evolving situation, we strongly urge the public to practice good hygiene, stay home when feeling unwell, and call your health practitioner if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (fever, fatigue, cough, and aches) before going to the hospital.

We thank the community for their cooperation and understanding during this time. We can slow the spread of respiratory viruses in our community when we work together.
