The city of Los Altos, in partnership with GreenTown Los Altos and the Electric Automobile Association of Silicon Valley, is hosting the annual "Destination Electric: A Los Altos EV Showcase". This event is free and open to all community members.
The event will showcase the latest electric vehicles (EV), and give visitors the opportunity to chat with EV owners, test ride e-bikes, and gain valuable insights from home electrification experts. Additionally, representatives from 10+ organizations will be on site, with information about EV charging, financial incentives and rebates, home electrification, and related sustainability initiatives.
Get an up-close look at the latest electric cars, trucks, and SUVs: Ask questions, peek inside, and explore many of the features of electric vehicles. Get firsthand insight from actual owners who will share their experience with charging tops and cost-saving benefits.
Discover the joy of electric bikes: Test ride a variety of models and find the perfect fit for your lifestyle.
Consult with home electrification experts: Learn everything you need to know about charging an EV and electrifying appliances as well as financial incentives and cost-saving strategies.
Limited parking is available at the Los Altos Civic Center complex: carpooling or bike riding to the event is encouraged.
