The Homestead Road Safety Improvements Project has been awarded to Pavex Construction. The Project will provide for the convenient and safe movement of vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians between Foothill Expressway and Belleville Way (the Sunnyvale/Cupertino City limit).

The project includes providing the following improvements:

  • A new traffic signal and crosswalk at the shopping center entrance
  • Storm drain improvements
  • New median islands
  • Class I bike and pedestrian path along the north side of Homestead Road
  • Landscaping and irrigation in the median strips and along the new path
