The City of Los Altos completed three sewer main repair and replacement projects in order to ensure the ongoing efficiency of the City’s sewer needs. The scope of work to be completed included the following:

  • Potholing of existing utilities
  • Replacement of existing 12-inch sanitary sewer mains with 15-inch and 18-inch sewer mains
  • Replacement of 6-inch sanitary sewer mains with 10.75-inch mains
  • Lining of sanitary trunk sewer mains
  • Pipe sag repairs
  • Disconnecting and reinstating of sewer lateral connections
  • Traffic control and bypass pumping of sanitary sewer flow
