This project will continue efforts to improve Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility within public facilities throughout the City. This would include improvements to connections to public right of way, entrance walks, entrance ramps, stairs, doors, transaction counters, public offices, conference and meeting rooms, public restrooms, public offices, recreation environments/features, parking and passenger loading, drinking fountains, and other elements identified in the City’s ADA transition plan adopted by City Council in 2014.

ADA compliance is a federal requirement.
