The Downtown Employee Parking Permit Program aka White Dot Spots provides all day parking for downtown business owners and employees in designated spaces with permits properly displayed.

How Do I Buy A Permit Online?

Beginning September 6, 2016

  • Permits are available for purchase online only
  • Permits are to be purchased by employees individually by opening their own account. Bulk permit purchases for employees will be denied.
  • Business License number or designated nonprofit number required to place your order
  • Online purchases can be made with American Express, Visa or MasterCard
  • Permit fees remain the same; Annual Permits are $36.00 and Quarterly Permits are $12.00
  • Annual Pass: $36; Valid October 1st through September 30th
  • Quarterly Pass: $12; Valid for current quarter, must be renewed each quarter
  • Permits are not pro-rated

  • Individuals can only purchase 1 (one) permit. Up to 5 vehicles can be linked to the permit to transfer between vehicles. Multiple permit purchases by one individual for multiple vehicles will be denied.
Key Dates
  • Permits go on sale Tuesday, September 6, 2016
  • Permit will be mailed beginning on September 19, 2016
  • Printable temporary passes will be available on September 23, 2016 and will be valid on October 1, 2016
  • Annual Permits are effective starting October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017
  • Must leave current permit displayed until September 30, 2016
Downtown Parking District

The Downtown Parking District includes the properties in the core of the downtown triangle that do not have private off-street parking. Business addresses listed below are eligible to purchase a parking permit:

  • Main Street: All addresses except 400 and 401
  • State Street: All addresses except 170
  • First Street: 197, 199, 201, 227, 235, 249 and 299
  • Second Street: All addresses from 148 to 255
  • Third Street: 126, 140 and 200
  • Parking Plazas: All addresses
Parking Permit Information
  • Permit parking is available in the North and South Parking Plazas in parking stalls marked with a white dot; view the Downtown Parking Map for the location of the white dot spaces
  • Permit holders may park in White Dot spaces all day with valid permit properly displayed
  • Permits must be at the bottom right corner of the passenger front windshield and clearly displayed; citations are issued if the permit is obscured or not properly placed
  • Permits are transferrable window decals and may be shared among part-time employees
  • Lost permits will not be replaced; new permits can be purchased online if available
  • There is a limited supply of permits and sell on a first come, first serve basis
