Open Government

Message from the City Manager

Welcome, and thank you for visiting the City of Los Altos Open Government webpage.

The City of Los Altos is dedicated to maintaining an open and transparent local government. As such, all regular and special City Council and Commission/Committee meetings are noticed and open for the public to attend. In addition, City Council and Commission/Committee meeting agendas and reports are available to the public in advance of each meeting. Meeting notices are emailed, posted online and made available in hard copy at City Hall and the Los Altos Public Libraries. The public is invited and encouraged to attend, listen, and participate at City Council, Commission/Committee, and other public meetings. Below you will find a number of links to more information about important City topics as well as a list of ways you can get connected and stay up-to-date on City business.

City Hall is located at 1 N San Antonio Road and is open to serve the public, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with the front counter closed from noon - 1:00 p.m. City staff members are available to the public at City Hall and can also be contacted by phone or email. The public can also contact the City by submitting an online service request.

Best regards,

Chris Jordan, City Manager
