Municipal Offices Closed December 25 - January 2

For the second year, the City of Los Altos will observe a holiday closure starting at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 through Friday, January 2, 2015. Most municipal offices will be closed, with the following exceptions:

  • The Police Department will remain open during the holiday closure. Dial 9-1-1 or (650) 947-2779 if you have an emergency.
  • The Fire Department will also remain open and operational during the closure. 
  • The Maintenance Division will also remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and can be reached at (650) 947-2785. After hours callers should dial the Police Department 24/7 business line at (650) 947-2770.
  • The Building Division will perform inspections on a limited basis during the closure. Call (650) 947-2754 to schedule an appointment.
  • The Recreation Department will be open on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in order to accept registrations for winter courses. Dial (650) 947-2790 to reach the Recreation front office.
