Water shaped the history of Santa Clara Valley, and how we use it will shape our future. Come experience and learn about our unique connection to our precious and finite water — past, present, and future. Through photographs, art, stories, and interactive activities for kids of all ages, visitors will leave with a greater understanding of the role water plays in our lives — and with resources and ideas for action! Expand your appreciation of water through an inspiring slate of educational programs and events that are scheduled throughout the course of the exhibition. January 2011: Los Altos completes Community GHG Inventory:

Ever wonder just how "green" your city is? The Community Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory is a method that allows cities to consistently measure the amount of carbon they generate into the atmosphere, allowing comparisons from year to year and across cities.
