Los Altos Climate Action Plan
The City is in the process of preparing a Qualified Climate Action Plan as required by State Assembly Bill 32 (Global Warming Solutions Act) that was adopted in 2006. To view all current documentation related to the City's Climate Action Plan, click here.
If you would like to learn more about Los Altos Climate Action Plan process, please contact Senior Planner Zachary Dahl with the Community Development Department at (650) 947-2750 or at planning@losaltosca.gov. Climate Action Plan updates will be provided at each Environmental Commission meeting, which is held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at Los Altos City Hall.

The Community Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory is a method that allows cities to consistently measure the amount of carbon they generate into the atmosphere, allowing comparisons from year to year and across cities.
