Bike to Work Day

Did you know that almost 40% of Bay Area commuters live within five miles of their workplace? If everyone who lives within this ideal distance pedaled to work, hundreds of thousands of cars would be off the road and air pollution that day would be reduced significantly. Experience bicycle commuting as a healthy and viable way to get to work.

On annual Bike to Work Days, Los Altos BPAC operates an Energizer Station at the corner of Foothill Expressway and Main Street/Burke Road. Another energizer station is operated by the Bicycle Outfitter at 963 Fremont Avenue (Loyola Corners).

Check for Bike to Work Day information at http://bikesiliconvalley.org/btwd/.
